Samos (Own Base)
Seafarer Sailing operates from the Ancient port of Pythagorion on the island of Samos, at the northern end of Dodecanese Island chain which hungs the coast of Turkey.
Seafarer sailing is the only Charter Company based in Samos. There is a daily jet service operated by Olympic Airlines from Athens as well as many charter flights from many European Countries and the airport is only 2 kms from Seafarer's fleet.
The itinerary normally followed on by Sailors includes Agathonissi, Arki, Lipsos, Patmos, Leros, Kalymnos, Nissiros, and Kos but it may varies according to your needs and the duration of your trip. The islands are all pretty close together and the constant summer breeze makes for exciting sailing in the high performance Yachts of Samos Base.

Yachts offered are of 31 up to 51 feet and cover all needs in 2 cabins and salon up to 5 cabins and saloon for parties of 2 up to 10 persons.
Base manager Achilleas Tsiamis, who began his sailing career 22 years ago, sailed extensively the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and crossed the Atlantic once.
Today Achilleas is a well-experienced sailing yacht captain in Greece.
Before being a skipper, Achilleas worked as a base manager for Dufour.
This technical knowledge of yachts is an important added value as base manager responsible for 10 yachts.
Achilleas besides the Greek mother language, speaks English, French and a little bit of Italian.
